Photo Recap

It's strange to think that today is really only the end of our second full day here.  In a lot of ways, it feels like we've been here a lot longer.  Part of that is, I think, because we're in a small place and so it's easy to acquaint yourself with the surroundings pretty quickly.  But also, we've done so much already!  I'll do a more complete photo album on facebook later, but for now, below are some of my favorites:

This was on our first leg of the trip to Chicago. Riley was SO excited to be on the "hairplane."

The house we're staying in is two doors down from an aquarium.  We got a 2 week membership so that anytime the girls are restless in the house we can just scoot on over there to pet the sting rays.  This is Avery hanging out in the penguin exhibit.

I just liked how this picture turned out.  This was in the shark exhibit, but Riley was more interested in watching "Mr. Ray" swim around the floor of the tank.  (Mr. Ray is from Finding Nemo - he's an eagle ray.)

Do you ever just feel small?

Because EVERY vacation should be a beach vacation. Hello, 80 degree weather in Ireland.  Fancy meeting YOU here!

This was following her second-ever experience with real ice cream.  She had a little bit of extra energy.  :)

Again, I'll put more pics on Facebook soon.  But its already 1am here and Riley will be up early whether I stay up late or not. :)    Thanks for following our journey, friends.

Coming soon:  We're headed to St. James Anglican Church in the morning.  It's a 200 year old church that's super traditional looking (crumbling stone walls and all) but also doubles as a local nightclub a few times per week, hosting local artists.

More later!

xoxo,
J
